In memory of Jonas

Jonas vom Nierstal, born 18 July 1991, passed away on 31 October 1995

Jonas was a Pyrenean mountain dog and came to us in summer 1991. He was very typical of his breed, and a dog with whom we could also achieve some show successes. According to his breed, he was a classic livestock guarding dog. He loved to dig holes on our property like bomb craters, in which one could then doze away the whole day.

During a necessary cancer operation we had to make the last bitter decision; the tumor had totally destroyed the stomach pylorus.
