Visit to the vet. Today there is the first herpes vaccination and the first progesterone test. The value is still very low.
10 July 2013
The second progesterone test looks much better. We decide to visit Gary on 12.07.13.
12 July 2013
We go to Belgium to Gary and Sandra. Around noon we are there and are well catered for again. Then Charlotte and Kilmara get to know each other. The boy is very interested, but Charlotte less so. After what seems like an eternity, she can't resist the attempts to play and a wild game develops. Kilmara mates Charlotte very fast. Well, that worked. We arrange to meet the day after next.

A repeat of the day before yesterday. Again only a wild game and out of the game a very fast and safe mating. This time we don't go home immediately, but make a detour to Regine's practice in Turnhout. To be on the safe side we do a progesterone test. The value is excellent! Now we have to wait for the ultrasound appointment.

Hurrah, Charlotte's pregnant. 3 to 4 babies could be seen in the ultrasound.

Today Charlotte gets her second herpes shot. One doesn't see at all that she is pregnant.

Slowly we get nervous. Nothing is happening yet, Charlotte is calm and satisfied.
16 September 2013
FINALLY, After a restless night around 9:00 am little Friedrich is born weighing 520 gr. After that nothing more happens. We go to the vet but the ultrasound shows Charlotte is empty, she must have resorbed the other babies. A little sad we drive home to our little prince.

Little Friedrich is so restless. Something is wrong with him. This morning he doesn't want to drink either and feels weak. Before we can make our way to the vet, our little treasure dies shortly after 8:00 in the morning. It should not have been this way.
